COVID-Neuro Network – Vaccine neurological adverse events following immunisation
Welcome to the COVID-Neuro Network, an international collaboration that is part of Brain Infections Global, led by the Liverpool Brain Infections Group from the University of Liverpool. The overall aim of Brain Infections Global is to improve the diagnosis of acute brain infections in adults and children in low and middle-income countries (LMIC), to guide treatment and improve outcomes. We also work to develop and support research capacity among partners.
In response to the international COVID-19 vaccination roll-out, we have developed standardised forms that enable data collection on the neurological adverse events following immunisation (AEFI) associated with COVID-19 vaccines. Please register with the network here to receive access to these forms for free. Following registration, you will receive an e-mail with a link to the forms for download, which you can use to collect data on your own patients. This should not replace legal reporting requirements in your country. Through our network, we aim to standardise data collection and facilitate subsequent comparison and sharing of information, and will be in touch with you about how we can do this, so that ultimately, we strengthen the global COVID-19 research response.

We have also developed a case record form (CRF) and standardised case definitions to enable data collection on the neurological complications of COVID-19 infection. You can also access them for free here.
