Prof Solomon heads the multi-disciplinary Liverpool Brain Infections Group, which works to reduce the UK and global burden of neurological disease in adults and children caused by infections.  He is also Director of the Pandemic Institute in Liverpool; Vice President (International), The Academy of Medical Sciences, UK; Director, NIHR Health Protection Research Unit in Emerging and Zoonotic Infections, Institute of Infection, Veterinary & Ecological Sciences, University of Liverpool and Honorary Consultant Neurologist, The Walton Centre, Liverpool.

Dr Bhagteshwar Singh

Dr Singh is currently based at the Christian Medical College in Vellore, India for the Brain Infections Global study. He is also a clinical trainee in Infectious Diseases and General Internal Medicine in Liverpool, UK.

Shona is responsible for the Liverpool Brain Infections Group's programme of research, within which the Brain Infections Global project falls. 

Ms Becky Rawlinson

BIGlobal Project Manager

Becky is responsible for the operational management of the Brain Infections Global project, including reporting and financial monitoring. She is the main point of contact for all partners and advisory panels as well as the funder, NIHR.
